About Leadership Montgomery County
Leadership Montgomery County (LMC), a joint venture between the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce and the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and enhancing current and future leaders of Montgomery County. LMC's goal is to educate and inform candidates about major community issues and inspire and motivate them to exercise their leadership skills to benefit the community.

The LMC Class of 2007 made the development of this Web site, HelpOurCounty.com, its class project. The purpose of this site is to serve as a link between nonprofit organizations within Montgomery County, Texas and area residents. HelpOurCounty.com is a tool eligible nonprofits can use to post profiles and list ongoing or immediate needs. The site also gives individuals looking to donate their time, talent, monetary support or tangible items a resource to search for organizations in need.
